Psychedelphia might be called a progressive jam-rock-fusion band. They might be called a psychedelic funk band. But the truth is that Psychedelphia just plays the music that they need to play without regard for the imaginary boundaries known as style. The sounds that Psychedelphia creates in a show are just as varied and numerous as the influences that have shaped their musical minds. It's this keen ability to "shape-shift and genre-morph" (Glide Magazine) that sets them apart from most acts and keeps fans returning to shows, always braced for a surprise.

As a trio, UZO made its mark under the moniker "Uncle Otter" for the first ten years of their existence. Original band members, Brendan Patti (Bass), Tom Patti (Guitar) and Adam Nicodemus (Drums) later added Mike Pappas (keyboards) as a permanent fixture to the lineup prompting the name change in 2008. Otter put out a studio album called "Catawampus" in 2000 and continued to thrive with their follow-up, The Return, in 2003. By 2004 it was time to take their new sound on the road and start playing live again. 2006 brought about the album "Ionic Debris." Most recently, UZO's first self-titled EP was released in 2009. UZO is currently refining some of their current live material as well as new material to finally execute the long awaited, "Demotion of Puto."

On August 16th 2011, 3LF will release an album very near to their hearts. "We spent nineteen months on this album, just to make it exactly the way we wanted to. In '09, we wanted nothing more than to work with an established producer and we got to do that. But you don't get to do this forever, and we felt like if for whatever reason this were to be our last record, we'd like to make it precisely on our own terms," says drummer/song-writer Kory Kochersperger.

But now we're doing Turnip music again. We've signed on Sarah Napolitan and Roger Scudder to join Gene and Ernie in the new Turnips.
